Every house we build is unique, because our customers are unique and consequently, no two customers will have the exact same experience when building their home with us. We are committed to making sure that all of our customers have a home building experience that is beautiful, comfortable, and uncommon. The key to this success is excellent communication and attention to detail.

We build custom residential homes that are beautiful, comfortable, and uncommon. We take great pride in our ability to build a variety of architectural styles with quality and purpose.

Not only can we build it, we can design it as well! We have an in-house designer who can tailor the floor plan to fit your needs as much as possible. We want to help you through every step of the process — from the ideas that shape it to the day you walk through the doors.

Design – Estimating – Project Support

Dave grew up in Carolina Beach, NC but moved to western North Carolina in early 2010.  He has been in and around construction for most of his life and has experience in almost all phases of the building process.  When he is not helping Corner Rock Building create beautiful homes for their clients, Dave enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, hiking, kayaking, fishing, and trips back to the coast.

Emily Greeson

Selections Coordinator – Project Support

Emily was born and raised in Georgia. She grew up going to the Smokies every fall with her family and fell in love with the mountains. After college, she moved out West for a bit but while the mountains were beautiful they didn’t feel like home. She made her way to Asheville in the spring of 2020 and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. When she’s not coordinating tile selections and deliveries at Corner Rock you can find Emily out on a hiking trail with her dogs or rock climbing at one of the popular mountains around town.

Jennifer Banks

Director of Special Projects

Jennifer is the Director of Special Projects for Corner Rock Building Co.  As her title indicates, she handles a myriad of ad hoc projects for our company.  She has a blackbelt in construction gophering, and she is all about doing things to let the Corner Rock Team members know how much they are valued and appreciated.  The concept of “home” is very important to Jennifer, and she takes a great deal of pride in knowing that Corner Rock builds excellent homes for our clients. These days she works part-time, which allows her to put endless miles on her minivan as she drives her children all over creation.  In a previous chapter of her life, Jennifer had her own bookkeeping practice. and after that she was a Director of Finance and Operations for a non-profit organization.  She is still a sucker for good causes.  Jennifer graduated from Duke University and is known to remind haters to look at the scoreboard.

Tricia Ward

Office Manager

Tricia was born and raised here in Western North Carolina. After graduating from college with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, she moved back to the mountains and began her career. She worked in the public accounting field for several years where she quickly found she enjoyed bookkeeping far better than taxes. With over 20 years of experience, she joined Corner Rock as bookkeeper and Office Manager in its beginning stages. She enjoys spending time with her teenage daughter and her second child, a 100lb furry friend.

Frank Dumont

Project Manager

Meet Frank! Frank moved to Asheville in 2012 after graduating from App State. He worked with the homeless population for 5 years before transitioning to construction. Frank started as a trim carpenter for a local home builder and gained valuable experience. He started with us at Corner Rock in 2021. Frank and his wife, Brandy, have two children, Alex and Sophia. On the weekends, you can find him spending time with his family and two dogs!
